Experience Some of the Best Fly Fishing in Colorado
Fly fishing found at our private lakes offers an exhilarating experience! These lakes are stocked with up to 1500 pounds of Colorado Trophy Trout each year. Since we encourage catch and release in all lakes, many of the fish are sufficiently large that you will not have to exaggerate when you tell your fish stories. We do allow you to keep one fish per person per day and provide a fish cleaning station. Flies & fishing equipment can be picked up in our Pro Shop.
Fishing Guidelines are as follows:
Guests may enjoy the privilege of fishing Fox Acres’ stocked lakes by paying a daily or weekly guest fee. They must come by the Front Desk in person, to sign a waiver and pick up their fishing passes.
Daily Guests - $50.00/person
Weekly Guests - $250.00/person
(No charge for guests under 12, but their
parent or guardian MUST complete a waiver
for each fisherperson).
Badges must be prominently displayed at all times while fishing. Please remember that the dress code does apply to all members and guests while fishing.

Spin Casting with a single barbless hook is only allowed on Lakes Nisqually, Blackfoot, Osage and Cree. All other fishing must be Fly Fishing.

Bait fishing is not allowed on any lakes.

Fishing on any lake adjacent to the Golf Course is allowed only before 8:00 a.m. and after 6:30 p.m. with the right of way always given to golfers.

No fishing is permitted on Nootka or Cayuse.

Fox Acres prefers that all members catch and release, but in the event that the fish will be consumed, the limit is one (1) fish per day per fisherperson.

Belly Boat users MUST be 18 years or older and must register with the Front Desk

Alcoholic Beverages are not permitted
Fishing Guide Fees: guided tours can be arranged with Fox Acres – please call at least 24 hours in advance to make a reservation.
$25.00 per hour for up to 3 people.
$75.00 for a ½ day for up to 3 people.
$150 for a full day for up to 3 people. Includes Box Lunch and non alcoholic beverages
(Additional people $12.50 per person, per hour)
Fishing Lessons are also available
$35.00 per hour for 1-2 people
$150.00 per ½ day for 1-2 people
$250.00 per full day for 1-2 people
Fishing passes for members and their two (2) guests will be billed to their accounts on an annual basis. Members may purchase additional passes for their guests to be used throughout the season. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests sign a waiver and adhere to all fishing rules. Members are responsible for fines levied on themselves or their guests for not adhering to all fishing rules. Instances where fines may apply include not displaying the proper fishing badge, not signing the waiver, and the use of spinners or bait at lakes where only Fly Fishing is permitted.
The fine policy will be a “no questions asked” fine of $90 for the first instance and $200 for each additional fine. The sponsoring member is responsible for guest infractions even if they are not accompanying their guests.
