Fox Acres Undergoes Revitalization
New Owners Breathe New Life Into Luxury Mountain Resort Community
Fort Collins, Colo. (Oct. 29, 2007) – Fox Acres, a luxury mountain community north of Fort Collins, is in the midst of a revitalization that began in of the spring of 2006 and will continue well into 2008.
Kevin and LeAnne Frazier purchased the property out of member ownership in May 2006 and immediately began improvements on the amenities and infrastructure. A new spa, new sandy swim beach, new fitness center, new tennis court and new all-purpose court, upgrades to world-class fish stock and fish habitat, the clubhouse, and the renovation of the Fox Den (a conference and recreation center) are just some of the upgrades completed. Amenity improvements total $1.1 million since the Frazier purchase, including $500,000 in new golf course equipment. The community now has full-time, year-round key staff members, including a general manager, clubhouse manager, executive chef, housekeeping manager and golf turf manager. The homeowner’s association made infrastructure upgrades, including new blacktop on the parking areas and roads, totaling $80,000.
